Edwardian Style Sapphire Diamond Trilogy Ring 2ct Sapphire

A stunning trilogy ring adorned with a striking oval cut sapphire in the centre weighing approx. 2ct, flanked by twin brilliant cut diamonds on either side, approx. 0.40ct each. The sapphire has a regal deep blue hue and is complemented beautifully by the bright white diamonds that have excellent SI1 clarity – H/I colour. 

Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.

The stones are set securely in pronounced claw mounts, modelled in 18ct white gold with Sheffield hallmarks stamped within the band, dating it to 2002. It would make a stunning engagement ring with a trilogy of stones representing past, present and future or those three little words – “I love you”.
