Vintage Emerald Diamond Cluster Ring 3.65ct Emerald Dated 1977
A striking vintage cluster ring built around a natural step cut emerald at its heart, weighing approx. 3.65 carats. It has an intense, vivid green hue and is bordered by sixteen twinkling old mine cut diamonds with SI1 clarity – I colour (approx. 0.80ct total).
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and was said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
The piece is all 18ct with a scalloped white gold gallery and yellow gold band at the back complete with London hallmarks, dating to 1977. It’s a magnificent piece that would make a perfect engagement ring for those who adore the natural green beauty of emeralds.
We recommend you insure for £6,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
