Antique Victorian Diamond Insect Brooch Silver 18Ct Gold Circa 1900
A stunning Antique late Victorian brooch featuring a large, winged insect decorated with sparkling Old Mine cut Diamonds and red cabochon Ruby eyes. It’s perched on a long bar set with further Mine cuts and leaves and can be turned left or right on a rotating screw.
The largest Diamond is approx. 0.25ct at the end of the pin with a grand total of approx. 1.25ct across the entire piece. Each is beautiful and bright with SI1 clarity – H colour.
It’s fashioned in Silver and 18ct Gold and fitted with a long pin at the back. It’s a great collector’s item and boasts a dazzling array of quality Diamonds.
