A pretty pair of vintage stud earrings showcasing two beautiful emerald cut aquamarines claw set in chunky 18ct gold mounts with 9ct butterfly backs. Each aqua weighs approx. 6ct and is lovely and clear with a soft aqua green hue.   

Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
