Antique Victorian Emerald Diamond Cluster Ring 11ct Cabochon Emerald
A magnificent antique Victorian cluster ring built around an enormous cabochon emerald weighing approx. 11 carats. It has a glossy surface and natural green glow and is complemented by sixteen glistening old mine cut diamonds around the border with excellent SI 1/2 clarity – H/I colour, approx. 1.6ct total.
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
The emerald is held in a gold bezel setting surrounded by a scalloped silver border. The back is modelled in 18ct gold and has decorative split shoulders and a pierced under gallery.
It’s a spectacular statement ring boasting a beautiful natural emerald that are rarely seen at this size.
