Vintage Ceylon Sapphire Diamond Cluster Ring 4.29ct Sapphire With Cert

A spectacular vintage cluster ring crowned with a magnificent natural cushion cut Ceylon sapphire weighed at an impressive 4.29 carats. The stone displays a vibrant, cornflower blue hue and is believed to have originated from Sri Lanka. It’s been tested as natural and shows no signs of heat treatment, this is all detailed in a comprehensive GCS gem certification that accompanies the piece.

The Sri Lankan sapphire, or “Ceylon” sapphire has been a favourite of kings and royalty throughout history and was regarded as a stone of truth, wisdom and strength. It’s valued for its striking royal blue colouring that tends to be more vibrant than most other sapphires.

As if the principal stone wasn’t enough, it’s encircled by two sparkling outer rings made up of thirty-two brilliant cut diamonds, with excellent VS1 clarity – G/H colour (approx. 1.8ct total). They’re arranged in a tiered gallery that rises to the sapphire on top. It’s modelled entirely in 9ct gold and complete with London hallmarks within the band.
