Antique Victorian Angel Skin Coral Diamond Pearl Flower Pendant Necklace
A gorgeous antique Victorian Angel skin coral pendant, fashioned in 15ct gold. The fabulous flower-shaped pendant is adorned with lustrous natural pearls and Angel skin coral. The largest coral is a polished cabochon in the centre, with a soft salmon-pink hue, haloed by twinkling rose cut diamonds.
Coral and Pearls are both treasures of the ocean and produced naturally over time by molluscs and tiny marine invertebrate known as polyp. Angel Skin Coral is desired for its rarity and lighter pink colouring which complements the bright, creamy lustre of pearls beautifully, a striking combination that together represent femininity, beauty, and grace.
This beautiful Victorian pendant dates to the late 19th Century and has remained in pristine condition. It exhibits a gorgeous combination of natural gems and is accompanied by a 15ct gold cable chain to display it on.
