A grand antique love knot brooch made during the late Victorian era, Circa 1880. The piece is adorned with a large orange Paste Stone in the centre which glistens with a warm, radiant glow, like a Citrine.
A lover’s knot has long been a symbol of love, loyalty and friendship as the knot represents an everlasting bond that is unbreakable and forever entwined.
The twisted gallery is modelled in Pinchbeck and has been gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold. It's in excellent condition and fitted with a strong pin and safety chain for added security when worn.
