Vintage Ruby Diamond Ring 1.2ct Ruby Dated 1989 With Cert
A gorgeous 1980s carved half hoop ring set with a trilogy of cherry-pink rubies which are accompanied by a detailed ruby report which indicates they’re of Thailand or East African origin and are all natural with some signs of heat treatment on the centre stone.
The centre ruby weighs approx. 0.80ct with 0.20ct outer stones (approx. 1.2ct total). They’re complemented beautifully by four bright brilliant cut diamonds nestled in between with SI1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.20ct total).
Ruby is the birthstone of July. They’ve been a favourite of kings and emperors throughout history and are considered a stone of the heart. Its fiery pink/ red hue is symbolic of passion and said to bring good fortune in love and provide long lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
The gallery is modelled in 18ct gold with ornate, pierced metalwork down the sides and shoulders and London hallmarks within the band dating to 1989. It’s a marvellous piece and the contrasting stones look fabulous spread over the finger.
We recommend you insure for £4,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
