Antique Edwardian French Diamond Sapphire Ruby Bangle Platinum 18ct Gold
An elegant antique Art Nouveau bangle made in France, Circa 1910. The front gallery consists of flowing, foliate curves encrusted with a dazzling array of rose cut diamonds (approx. 1ct total) and two rubies.
A cushion cut sapphire, ruby and old mine cut diamond take centre stage and are set out diagonally in claw settings between the gallery’s curves. They weigh 0.20 & 0.23ct and make up the French national colours, red, white and blue.
Diamonds are truly a stone of perfection, desired for their rarity, durability and exceptional sparkle that is second to none. Their superior qualities have made them the ultimate symbol of love across the ages with their strength and ceaseless fire representing eternal love and devotion.
The gallery is crafted in platinum, with pierced sides and joins an 18ct yellow gold band at the back, complete with a safety chain and box clasp stamped with French Gold and Platinum marks. It’s a stunning French antique, made during a time suitably named “La Belle Époque” (The beautiful era).
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
