Vintage Double Strand Pearl Necklace Sapphire Diamond Clasp
A classy vintage pearl matinee necklace from the late 20th Century displaying two strands of luxurious, creamy-white cultured pearls that are exceptionally bright with a smooth glossy surface.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
The strands are held securely by a large 18ct gold box clasp depicting coils of rope, topped with a cluster of deep blue sapphires, haloed by rings of diamonds and smaller sapphires.
It would be perfect for a wedding or glamorous occasion, boasting an exceptional collection of pearls that are fit for royalty.
We recommend you insure for £4,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
