Antique Edwardian Ceylon Sapphire Diamond Trilogy Ring 1.51ct Sapphire With Cert
A stunning antique Edwardian sapphire diamond trilogy ring, crowned with a natural blue Ceylon sapphire flanked by two bright brilliant cut diamonds. The piece is accompanied by a gem certification that states the sapphire weighs 1.51ct and is of Sri Lankan origin, with an intense, regal blue hue that shows no signs of heat treatment. The diamonds are also detailed in the report and weigh approx. 0.32ct each and have excellent SI 1/2 clarity - H/I colour (0.65ct total).
The Sri Lankan sapphire, or “Ceylon” sapphire has been a favourite of kings and royalty throughout history and was regarded as a stone of truth, wisdom and strength. Our 3 stone sapphire engagement ring is valued for its striking royal blue colouring which tends to be brighter and more vibrant than most other sapphires.
The stones are set in secure white gold crown mounts that join a sleek 18ct gold band at the back. This would make a stunning engagement ring with the trilogy of stones representing past, present and future or those three little words – “I love you”.
We recommend you insure this ring for £5,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
