Antique Queen Anne Gemstone Flower Pendant 18ct Gold
This beautiful and rare antique Queen Anne flower pendant is decorated with nine oval cut gemstone petals, including red garnets, golden citrines, blue aquamarines, and various other coloured quartz, with a teal-blue paste stone taking centre stage.
During the reign of Queen Anne (1702 - 1714) Great Britain went through some historic changes with the creation of the United Kingdom and the foundations laid for the 18th Century’s Golden Age. This historic period is reflected in these stunning pieces of jewellery which are extremely rare and highly sought after today.
The stones have all been foil-backed to increase their sparkle and are all collet set in closed-back 18ct gold settings with an engraved halo around the centre stone.
This is a rare piece of Queen Anne era jewellery, beautifully preserved from the early 18th Century. It’s highly collectable and adorned with a delightful rainbow of coloured gems.
