Vintage Ruby Diamond Cluster Ring Natural 1.13ct Ruby Dated 1977 With Cert
A stunning vintage cluster ring crowned with a round natural ruby in the centre weighing approx. 1.13ct. It’s complemented by a halo of eight bright brilliant cut diamonds with SI1 clarity – F/G colour, totalling approx. 0.40ct.
The ruby is believed to have originated from Thailand or Cambodia and has had some routine heat treatment which has given it an alluring, deep cherry-pink hue. This is all detailed in the accompanying gem certification.
Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
The stones are set in a solid 18ct gold star gallery with pierced sides and ornate, open-work shoulders leading into the band. It’s complete with London hallmarks, dating it to 1977 and would make a perfect engagement ring with a gorgeous natural ruby taking centre stage.
We recommend you insure for £4,600. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
