Antique Edwardian Paste Pearl Suffragette Brooch Silver Circa 1910
An exquisite antique Art Nouveau brooch from the Edwardian era, decorated with pink and green Paste Stones and white Pearls which together make up the colours associated with the women's Suffragette movement that took place in the early 20th Century.
The silver gallery has a beautiful, open-work design, with curled metalwork and gilded leaves and flowers detailed with polka-dot White Enamel. The piece is finished with three fabulous droppers that consist of a large faux Pearl in the centre flanked by two black Enamel thorns.
