Antique Victorian Sapphire Diamond Pearl Bangle 15ct Gold
An elegant antique Victorian bangle, crowned with a deep blue cushion cut sapphire in the centre (approx. 0.50ct), flanked by two bright old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.20ct each) and a row of natural pearls that graduate down each shoulder. It’s fashioned entirely in 15ct yellow gold and features fine engraving down the sides of the gallery.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
This Victorian bangle dates to the late 19th Century and is in pristine condition. It displays a fabulous collection of gems across the front and is fitted with a box clasp and safety chain at the side to hold it secure.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
