Antique Edwardian Diamond Pearl Brooch 5ct Of Diamond
A stunning antique Edwardian brooch from the early 1900s decorated with a dazzling array of diamonds and a large natural pearl at the bottom, dotted with a hidden diamond underneath.
The diamonds are a combination of old mine and cushion cut, with a striking pear cut stone in the centre, weighing approx. 1.75ct on its own. They’re all extremely bright with excellent clarity and colour (SI 1 – H).
Diamonds are truly a stone of perfection. They’re the hardest known material on the planet and have been desired throughout history for their exceptional lustre and brilliant fire that is symbolic of everlasting love and strong commitment.
The gallery has an unusual open-work design, with a burst of diamonds fanning out at the top, like sun rays beaming from the centre stone. It’s modelled in silver and backed in 18ct gold, including the pin which is held by a locking catch.
It’s truly magnificent to behold and boasts approx. 5ct of diamond in total that glisten endlessly in the light.
We recommend you insure for £17,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
