Antique Edwardian Moonstone Sapphire Ring 18ct White Gold Silver Circa 1915

This extravagant antique Edwardian ring boasts an impressive cabochon Moonstone which is approx.15ct and haloed by blue Sapphires, approx. 2.50ct total.

The Moonstones have a lovely ghostly hue and a luminous surface similar to that of Moonlight. They are said to be a magical stone providing a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom. 

The stones are set in a large Silver mount which showcases a decorative open worked under gallery which has been added to a newer 18ct White Gold shank added Circa 1930. It would make a fabulous statement piece and is highly unique.
