ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN PASTE STAR BROOCH SILVER CIRCA 1910
A striking Antique late Edwardian star brooch dated Circa 1910. The wonderful twelve-pointed star is decorated with an array of sparkling old cut Paste Stones the largest of which is approx. 0.30ct in the centre and sparkles bright like a Diamond.
Stars became popular during the late 19th Century as an interest in astronomy grew. Stars symbolise guidance and are seen to lead you in the direction you are meant to go.
The brooch is all solid 900 Silver and complete with a sturdy pin and safety catch on the reverse. It is a wonderful collector’s item and would look beautiful on a lapel.
