Antique Georgian Paste Silver Sun Brooch
A spectacular antique Georgian sun brooch from the early 19th Century decorated with a dazzling array of old cut paste stones which have been foil backed to simulate the beauty and sparkle of diamonds. The largest in the centre is extremely bright and resembles a large 3.5ct diamond.
The gallery is all solid silver with a strong pin on the reverse which holds it in place securely. It’s a wonderful design, beautifully preserved and steeped in the history of the era.
