Antique Victorian French White Sapphire Cluster Ring 5.5ct Sapphire
An exquisite antique French cluster ring dating from the late 19th Century set with seven clear white sapphires, with six smaller sapphires around the border. They have an icy white sparkle and together total approx. 5.5 carats.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The white variety is considered a stone of purity, clarity and wisdom and is a popular engagement stone due to its hardness and bright, colourless sparkle that rivals that of a diamond.
The round gallery is fashioned in sterling silver with a pierced under gallery and French hallmarks on the outside of the band. It’s a glorious statement piece and very eye-catching.
