ART DECO FRENCH 56CT AQUAMARINE RING PLATINUM CIRCA 1930
This magnificent French cocktail ring was made during the Art Deco period and boasts a breath-taking emerald cut Aquamarine which is an incredible 56.05ct gemstone displaying a beautiful clear blue hue with flashes of green.
The exceptional Aqua is mounted in a solid Platinum gallery with a fancy open-worked design complete with French hallmarks on the outside of the shank.
Each stepped shoulder is decorated with six sparkling princess cut Diamonds followed by five old brilliant cut Diamonds that total to approx. 1.10ct together.
The princess cut stones are clear, bright VS 1 clarity - H colour stones. The brilliant cuts are SI 1 clarity – H colour.
The ring is a remarkable statement piece and boasts one of the finest Aquamarines we have ever had the pleasure of exhibiting for sale. It is truly stunning to behold and very rarely found.
