Art Deco WMF Myra Glass Necklace Sterling Silver Gold Gilt
An enchanting Myra glass necklace made by WMF in the 1920s. It’s made up of faceted sterling silver links and longer bar links gilded in 18ct yellow gold and interspersed with sixteen Myra glass beads displaying a metallic rainbow of vibrant colours, including green, blue, purple and amber.
WMF is renowned for their quality glass pieces dating back to 1883. Their most notable work came in the form of Myra Glass, a colourful, iridescent glass that had a short window of production between 1926 - 1936 making it incredibly rare and highly sought after today.
It’s a fabulous design, in excellent condition and displays a gorgeous collection of rare Myra beads that are truly mesmerising to look at.
