Edwardian Style Opal Diamond Cluster Clip Earrings 18ct Gold 2ct Opals
A stunning pair of Edwardian inspired flower cluster earrings bezel set with two natural jelly opal cabochons in the centre, weighing approx. 2 carat each. They have a smooth, gelatinous appearance with an incandescent spectrum of colours that float across the surface. They’re complemented by a halo of brilliant cut diamond petals with superb VS1 clarity – H colour (approx. 2.24ct total).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The earrings are crafted in 18ct white and yellow gold with milgrain edging around the border and a beautiful open-work, petal under gallery. They’re a magnificent pair and complete with London hallmarks on the back, dating to 1998 and strong clips which can be converted to pierced for an additional fee if preferred.
