Vintage Rope Twist Chain Necklace 9ct Gold Dated 1979

A lavish vintage rope chain necklace made up of engraved 9ct yellow gold rings tightly interwoven into one thick, twisted strand. It’s silky and smooth and articulates fluidly with a fine 9ct white gold box chain also twirling around the length. 

It’s a beautiful design, expertly made and is held by a secure box clasp complete with a safety catch and marks on the back that indicate it was made by Italian jeweller “Unoaerre” and assayed in London in 1979.
